Clarity II Vascular Treatment | Hemangiomas & Veins
A professional laser treatment using the Cynosure Clarity II to target the appearance of selected superficial vascular lesions, including certain visible veins and vascular concerns.
Using targeted laser energy, the treatment works on blood vessels within the treated area. The appropriate wavelength and treatment settings are selected following an individual assessment.
Treatment may be suitable for the appearance of:
- Spider veins
- Facial telangiectasia / visible facial vessels
- Small visible veins
- Venous lakes
- Selected hemangiomas
Treatment benefits may include:
- Reduced appearance of targeted vessels
- More even-looking skin
- Improved appearance of localized redness associated with visible vessels
The number of sessions required varies according to the type, size, location and characteristics of the vascular concern.
Important: A consultation and assessment are required before treatment. Not every vascular lesion is appropriate for laser treatment, and diagnosis of an unfamiliar or changing lesion should be completed by an appropriate healthcare professional before cosmetic treatment.

What can Hemangioma & Vein Treatment treat?
Clarity II can be used to target certain visible vascular concerns, including some facial veins and vascular lesions such as select hemangiomas. Suitability depends on the type, size and location of the concern.
How does the treatment work?
The laser delivers targeted energy that is absorbed by blood vessels, helping the body gradually clear the treated vessel. Your treatment settings are customized to your skin and the area being treated.
Does it hurt?
You may feel a brief snapping or warming sensation during treatment. Most clients tolerate the treatment well, and comfort measures may be used when appropriate.
Is there any downtime?
Some temporary redness, swelling or sensitivity can occur after treatment. Depending on the vascular concern being treated, the area may also change in appearance as it responds to the laser.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies based on the type, size and location of the vessel or lesion. Some concerns may respond in fewer sessions, while others require a series.
Will the vein or hemangioma come back?
The treated vessel may not return, but new or previously untreated vessels can develop over time. Results vary by individual and by the type of vascular concern.
Is everyone a candidate for treatment?
Not every vascular concern is suitable for laser treatment. An assessment is required to determine whether Clarity II is appropriate and whether referral to a medical professional is recommended.
